pbc88 Caishen Wins — Reels of the God of Fortune
Built around Caishen, the Chinese god of fortune, this slot is one of PG Soft's most popular games. Top RTP 96.92%, special bonus features and smooth gameplay — find everything about the game on this page.
What type of game it is and where it comes from
Caishen Wins is a 5x3 video slot by PG Soft — 5 reels and 3 rows. It offers 500 ways to win with no fixed paylines; a win is formed when matching symbols land consecutively from left to right across adjacent reels.
The theme is fully in the spirit of Chinese New Year: red and gold colours, dragons, gold coins and Caishen himself at the centre — the god of wealth and prosperity in Chinese religious tradition. The animations are smooth and the music creates a festive atmosphere. PG Soft built the game on their mobile-first engine, so all details remain clear even on a small phone screen.
Like other popular PG Soft games such as Fortune Tiger and Mahjong Ways, this game features seasonal events and special symbols that enrich the gameplay. pbc88's slots section carries games from PG Soft and many other developers.
Reel layout, symbols and bonus features
The symbols across the 5x3 grid fall into several groups. High-value symbols depict Caishen in various forms and golden objects, while low-value symbols use traditional Chinese card characters. The wild symbol can substitute for any regular symbol and increases the chance of a win.
| Symbol type | Description | Special feature |
|---|---|---|
| Caishen (high) | Golden statue of the deity | Highest payout |
| Dragon and coins | Golden dragon, gold dish | Medium payout |
| Wild | Caishen's special banner | Substitutes for any symbol |
| Scatter | Golden bell / gift box | Free spin trigger |
| Low value | A, K, Q, J, 10 | Standard payout |
Landing three or more scatters anywhere on the reels triggers the free spin round. During free spins, wild symbols can become sticky — once they land, they stay in the same position on subsequent spins, and each new sticky wild that is added triggers a respin. This mechanic creates the biggest win opportunities in the game; the more of the reels that fill up with wilds, the higher the chance of reaching the maximum win.
Main bonus feature: Sticky Respin
During the free spin round, wild symbols lock onto the reels. Each new wild that lands triggers another spin. The more wilds fill the reels, the greater the potential win.
How a spin works
Select your bet
Set your bet per round before spinning. The game generally offers a range of bet sizes from small to large.
Win formation
A win occurs when three or more matching symbols land consecutively starting from the left reel, in any row or adjacent position.
Scatter trigger
Landing three scatters starts the free spin round. No regular bet is needed here — the bonus round runs entirely separately.
Respin and cash out
After the bonus ends you return to the main game. Any winnings are added to your balance immediately. You can stop at any time.
Because the ways-to-win system has no fixed paylines, there are many more paths to a win on every spin. However, this also means your total bet is spread across all those paths. At pbc88 Casino you will find this type of game in both the live and slots categories.
Who this game suits
Caishen Wins is a medium volatility game. In simple terms — it does not pay out large prizes very frequently, but long stretches with nothing happening are not common either. It suits players who prefer moderate wins and are comfortable playing longer sessions in one go.
- Budget: New players can start with small bets. You can see the bonus features without a large budget.
- Session length: Well suited for sessions of 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Medium volatility: Ideal for patient players who prefer to play steadily rather than chase big bets impulsively.
- High volatility fans: Players who want to wait through long stretches for a single large win may prefer games like Wanted Dead or a Wild or Money Train 2.
Useful tips before you play
Start with the demo
Many games at pbc88 have a demo version. Before putting in real money, use the free demo to get a feel for the game's rhythm — especially how often the free spin trigger appears.
Set a session budget
Decide how much you are willing to spend per session before you start. Balances can change quickly in slots — plan your total budget for 50–100 spins.
Stick to your stop limits
Decide in advance how much you are willing to lose before stopping, and at what point you will cash out a win. Stopping when you are ahead is the hardest part — so make that decision before you start.
Responsible gaming
Slots are entertainment — not a way to earn money. Read the responsible gaming guidelines and play within your limits. For ages 21+ only.
Common misconceptions and the reality
"If a slot hasn't paid out for a long time, it's due to pay now" — many people believe a game is obliged to give a big prize after a certain period.
Every spin of a slot is completely independent. The RNG (Random Number Generator) produces each result separately. Previous results have no influence whatsoever on the next spin.
"Increasing your bet after a loss will bring back your money faster" — trying to recover losses by placing larger bets is a familiar trap.
Raising your bet after a loss multiplies the risk, it does not reduce it. The mathematics of slots remain the same on every spin. The right decision when you are losing is to stop.
"Auto-spin has a lower win rate" — some believe manual and auto spin produce different results.
The win rate for auto-spin and manual spin is exactly the same. The only difference is convenience — technically both use the same RNG.
"RTP means I will definitely get back ৳96.92 for every ৳100 I bet" — RTP is treated as a guaranteed return.
RTP is a long-term mathematical average — calculated across millions of spins. In a short session, results are far more variable, sometimes much higher and sometimes much lower.
How it differs from other slot styles
Caishen Wins' ways-to-win system is quite different from traditional payline slots. In a standard payline game, winning paths are fixed — for example 9, 15 or 25 lines. But 500 ways-to-win means a prize is awarded whenever matching symbols land consecutively from left to right, regardless of row or position.
Compared to Megaways slots — in Bonanza Megaways or Extra Chilli Megaways the number of ways changes every spin and wins can be formed in thousands of ways, with generally higher volatility. Caishen Wins offers more controlled and predictable gameplay.
Compared to crash games such as Aviator, the slot mechanic is entirely different — in crash games the player chooses when to cash out, whereas in slots everything is RNG-driven. On pbc88's slots page you can compare different types of games.
